Jerald Ingram is an American football coach. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he grew up in Beaver, Pennsylvania. He played as a consistently producing running back at the University of Michigan and played in several Big Ten Football championships. He first became an NFL coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars serving with head coach Tom Coughlin whom he has continued to work with at the Giants organization. Ingram is known for his precise coaching skills that allow running backs to improve their performance. In three seasons under Ingram?s tutelage, Tiki Barber emerged as a dominant running back in the NFL. With Ingram's coaching, Barber's performance and statistics allowed him to be named to the NFL Pro Bowl NFC First Team in Barber's final three seasons before he retired in 2006.
